Rajasthan imposes 144 in 11 districts : COVID-19

Due to the increasing number of coronavirus cases, the Rajasthan government has decided to impose section 144 in 11 districts of the state such as Jaipur, Jodhpur, Kota, Ajmer, Alwar, Bhilwara, Bikaner, Udaipur, Sikar, Pali and Nagaur districts. Along with section 144, Social and Religious gatherings are strictly banned till Oct 31.

However, 20 people are allowed to attend the funeral and 50 people for the marriage. This decision was made by the Chief Minister Sh Ashok Gehlot along with the Health Minister Dr. Raghu Sharma, Chief Secretary Rajeeva Swarup and rest of the officials.

A total of 93,805 patients have recovered so far and 17,997 active cases are there in the state.
