Fire at ONGC plant in Surat after 3 blasts

A massive fire out broke at an ONGC Gas plant in Surat early this morning.This fire blast took place around 3 am, and there was three consecutive blasts at ONGC Hazira Plant which led to huge spread of fire.

Surat Municipal Commisssioner Banchhanidhi Pani said that fire was in the 36 inch Uran to Mumbai gas pipeline. Surat Collector and District Magistrate Dhaval Patel, told Reuters the fire was caused by a rupture in a pipeline at the gas terminal. The good news in “there is no casualty or injury to any person,”ONGC said on its Twitter account.
