NASA sends cargo spacecraft named after Kalpana Chawla

The NASA launched the Northrop Grumman’s Antares rocket and a Cygnus spacecraft bound for the International Space Station from its Wallops flight facility on Friday. The craft carries 8,000 pound supplies and it would reach on Monday. It is been named after SS Kalpana Chawla, the first Indian born woman to enter space. The craft carries camera for spacewalking, radish seeds for growing and a smorgasboard of fancy meats and cheeses for feasting.
